About the session:
Please join Dr. Hoffman and Mr. Stream-Gonzalez for an information session about the U.S. Student Fulbright Program. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers U.S. citizens opportunities for fellowships abroad for one academic year. Fulbrights are available to graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals, scientists and artists. Program participants pursue graduate or professional study, advanced research, or English teaching in elementary and secondary schools or universities. Each year, approximately 1,600 Americans traveling to more than 140 countries receive support from the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.
Since 1946, the Fulbright U.S. student program has promoting mutual understanding and the “promotion of international good will through the exchange of students in the fields of education, culture, and science.” MSU students and alumni have received Fulbrights to Colombia, Finland, the United Kingdom, S. Korea, and Germany over the last few years.
