MSU Admission

Information about applying to Mississippi State University in addition to the English Language Institute.

English Language Institute students enjoy the benefit of alternate admission routes into the undergraduate or graduate programs at Mississippi State University, including TOEFL waiver possibilities.

Admission into MSU’s English Language Institute does not guarantee admission to a Mississippi State University degree program. Prospective students should contact the appropriate offices, either the Office of the Graduate School or the Office of Admission & Scholarships for undergraduate students. University and department requirements apply.

Students wishing to be considered for admission to the university should apply to MSU for admission, not to the English Language Institute.

For undergraduate admissions requirements, please visit the Office of Admissions and Scholarships website.

For graduate admissions requirements, please visit the Graduate School website.
