The Fulbright International Education Administrator (IEA) Seminars are designed specifically for higher education administrators, including deans, directors, and senior professional staff who play a role in shaping institutional strategy and global engagement. These short‑term, fully funded programs offer intensive, two‑week site visits in countries such as Germany, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and France, with a focus on understanding foreign higher education systems and exploring opportunities for institutional partnership.
IEA Seminars are especially well-suited for MSU professionals working in international programs, admissions, academic affairs, or global partnerships. Participants gain firsthand exposure to how higher education is structured and governed abroad, while building relationships with international counterparts and Fulbright alumni. Many past participants have leveraged these experiences to launch faculty exchanges, develop memoranda of understanding, and strengthen collaborative programs that advance campus internationalization goals. Application deadlines vary by seminar and country, allowing administrators to identify opportunities that best align with their role, interests, and institutional priorities.
